Picturesque traditional village Plaka located in the shape of a horseshoe on the slope of Mount Drapanokefalla, among lush plants and olive groves. About 250 sea caves, called Nerospilia, scattered throughout the region, are a rare natural phenomenon and an ideal place for cave diving. Inhabitants of Plaka are mainly farmers and producers of wine, olive oil and tsikoudi.
